Sorry I didn't make an announcement about my vacation (ends tomorrow), but I was hoping to provide more content while I was away. Oops. LOL. Today I have some time on our last day though b/c my whole family is "very badly burned" (Austin Powers fans will understand). I tried to warn them, but alas...
Here's what's happening for this community, and coming soon:
1. Homeschool resource list - if you haven't checked it out on my website, the link is pinned below for supporters. I did it this way to make the list more useful, and easier to update over time. I'll be adding some stuff today (March 19th).
2. Supporters' research requests/CRT related help - keep using that thread to ask questions or solicit research! If you are someone in need of help with CRT in the classroom where your kids are in school, please do the following:
- Send me info, it will be kept in STRICTEST confidence, if not here, via email from my website.
- Send info to @karlyn who is looking for more, specifically for NH, but if you have other stuff, send there too.
I now have some connections to people who can literally help you with legal assistance, hopefully more specific news on that soon...
3. Live Convos - April 1 I will be interviewing Christopher Paslay, who wrote the book Exploring White Fragility. Hoping to book at least one other Live Convo for April about FAPE and SPED, just waiting to hear from some people who are trying to coordinate dates.
4. Zoom calls - it appears the link is fixed AND I'm adding a Sunday call for people who can't make the Wed. one! I will be doing Sundays at 6PM Eastern time starting NEXT week, March 28th.
We used the link the other night and it worked just fine, so that issue is fixed! Hope more of you can come in the future!
