Ok so I've realized in order to get this forum going, we need more people, and with eggs alone costing a small fortune, an unknown quantity isn't gong to inspire the commitment of a high monthly subscription.
SO, I've gone ahead and lowered the price by 50% for every level of membership, and extended the trial period to 30 days for the general public, and 4 MONTHS for those of you who are already paying Locals subscribers.

OK, I've gotten this a few times, and here is the answer: It depends on what you want to get out of the interaction.
I've been working on integrating this work into my life as a FT employed person. My plan is as follows:
- Daily updates on Locals of links or topics of interest
- Daily updates on TRWL Forum, including interaction/answering questions
- Weekly Dissident Dispatch LIVE shows Monday evenings on YT
- Weekly Zoom calls Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM Eastern
- Weekly Locals LIVE shows Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM Eastern
- Weekly video essays on YT posted more randomly (1-2 per week starting in February)
- Monthly uploads of Locals LIVE show recording to Patreon, YT Members Only, and Subscribestar
- Monthly uploads of YT LIVE broadcasts to Patreon and Subscribestar
- Monthly written article on Substack (I'd like to do more, we'll see, but one at least)

Well, only you can decide what's of value to you, but my pitch is this: despite having a job, I am still spending most of my free time up to my eyeballs in the same research and analysis, maintaining the same network of whistleblowers and contacts in the education and parental rights world, and bringing you translations and updates of what I find.
I am also spending money to do this. Rather than be gauche and give you an itemized list of my own expenses, I'll just say -- and I hope this suffices -- I have never made a profit off this work. In fact, I've been very publicly mocked and derided for not doing so, as if that ought to have been my goal. It never was, and it never will be.
