You've probably heard the expression "career and college readiness," right and you've probably wondered what could possibly be wrong with that when people like me, criticize it. Likewise, perhaps, you may have wondered how a classical education could possibly be relevant at any level, especially K 12, when we have so few people with marketable skills anymore. Well, I'm here to explain why that classical education matters now more than ever before, and so-called "career and college readiness" is a road to disaster.
