Ok parents; let me make this as clear as I can: you CAN let your child use tech without giving them access to all the things! You can install browser plugins that block sites, and you can even block the installation of new apps and browsers to get around them! You can't prevent them from seeing stuff on their friends' devices, so spread the love to their friends' parents AND you can tell your kids why you want to limit their screen time!

Set firm rules about tech and phone use in your home, and model them. It's not forever, just until they get through puberty, brains (and privates) intact.
Tell them puberty sucks. Empathize, remind them this too shall pass! Share your awkward photos, how you got through it, why it's wonderful on the other side, and being a man or woman has perks as well as pain because that's what life is! The trans movement is a movement away from life and acceptance of its realities. Most people go fall prey to its siren song will double their misery because it's not the answer to lie that "puberty" is a problem to be solved!
I think parents have gotten so comfortable in the expectation that someone else would have "the talk" with our kids, be it friend or teacher, we simply didn't do it, and I'm here to tell you there are kids who believe the lie in a heartbeat because they've never heard the truth!
Tell them! And get them off trans tech now!
